Our last digital camera was seven years old and stopped working. We normally don't take that many pictures but there were a few times that my wife wished she had one and when I needed one for work, it was time to start looking. My cousin has the ELPH 1200 10 MP and I noticed it took great pictures. After reading reviews and checking out consumer reports we went with the Canon 780 12 MP. At first my wife thought it was too small when she took it out of the box. However, after charging the battery and using it, she can't put it down.
It is so simple to use and so conveniently small, we almost always have it with us. We have been taking pictures for weeks, even on vacation, and only recently have we had to charge the battery for the first time. The battery lasts a very long time.
I don't have too many technical aspects to report on, I'm not that camera savvy. I do have to tell that I needed to upload pictures to a site but they were too large. The manual has easy instructions on how to reduce the size of the megapixels and that solved the problem after taking new pictures. For an easy to use, everyday camera that you can take anywhere, I would definitely recommend the ELPH SD780Get more detail about Canon PowerShot SD780IS12.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Black).
