Computer Backup Solution

Once a week when I start my computer, a window pops up to ask if I want to back up my files. I always say no because I don't want to go through the hassle of burning all my files on CDs. Yet after my boyfriend's computer had a virus from the internet, I knew I should backup my files to prevent losing all my music, work, and other files. I thought about buying an external hard drive like my family suggested, but it seemed too expensive and complicated.

While searching for other options, I found an online backup software that sounded easier to use and faster than burning CDs all day long. I read through some of the information and discovered that the online software would backup my computer quickly. It only required a software download in less than a minute, installation, and a quick selection of the files to be stored on backup.

The online backup software came in two options, a 2 GB back-up or an upgrade to unlimited storage. The 2 GB option was free storage for as long as I wanted so I chose that option. If I wanted, I could upgrade to unlimited storage for less than per month later. I had a private key encryption and a locked file to prevent others from hacking into my data.

I finished quickly and had the rest of the day to do what I wanted, rather than sit at my computer and burn CDs for hours on end.

I would definitely suggest an online backup system for anyone that wants to backup their computer files quickly and for less money.
